In Christmas animations, cards, pageants and more, we see the heavenly host singing Christmas carols to the shepherds as they watched over their sheep on that first Christmas night. There were shepherds and there were angels, but they weren't singing Christmas carols to the shepherds.
At first, there was one angel, then he was joined by the "heavenly host" and they sang praises to God. It's interesting that the Biblical word for "host" actually used to describe an army. The heavenly host is the heavenly army. It was an army singing the praises of God, an army of angels!
I've run out of myths. I think 10 is a nice round number. If you have any ideas or any more myths, share them in the comments section, I'd love to read about them!
